SENTEL CORPORATION 

CLA-Tech team member SENTEL Corporation, founded in 1987, has been providing software engineering and technical support for development, execution, and maintenance of Navy frequency management programs, including the Afloat Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Program (AESOP), the Electromagnetic Compatibility Analysis Program (EMCAP), as well as the Communications Planning Module (CPM) since 1991.  SENTEL performs full life-cycle software development support for AESOP.  SENTEL is also providing E3 and technical support to AESOP to support the battle force (BF).  This support includes performing E3 testing for new and deployed system; providing assistance and extensive training for AESOP users; and investigating and designing the migration of AESOP for compliance with the U.S. Navy’s FORCEnet initiative.  As part of the AESOP support, SENTEL has: Provided spectrum certification and assignment support for numerous spectrum dependent systems in experimental, developmental and operational stages; Developed an electromagnetic interference fix for the Televisions Direct-to-Sailor; Assisted in the evaluation of AN/SPY-1 radar interference to WiMAX systems; and Developed 110 circuit boards to replace missing or damaged boards onboard several of the Navy’s Mine Countermeasure Ships. SENTEL also provides over 26 years of hardware and software engineering experience in the areas of data acquisition, hardware level monitoring and control, laser steering, sensor and subsystem communications, command and control, requirements management, configuration management, and quality assurance. SENTEL will utilize their expertise in the areas of RF spectrum management, EMI fix development, software development and life cycle support, data acquisition, and radio communications to assist in the optimization of the use of the limited radio spectrum. SENTEL’s years of experience in software and hardware solutions will enhance CLA-Tech’s capability to provide premiere services to the operational Navy. With SENTEL Corporation a prime contractor under Sea Port program CLA-Tech will not elaborate on SENTEL’s abilities.

The CLA-Tech technical team can provide services as required at shore sites, land based test facilities, shipyards, and aboard ships in port and at sea.  The CLA-Tech team has the experienced personnel to provide engineering and technical services in support of identification, analysis and resolution of combat systems and interoperability for electromagnetic interference anomalies that affect shipboard systems.  CLA-Tech will provide on-site engineering and technical support for EM control drawing, tests and evaluations; develop, maintain, and update test documentation; and attend working group, planning, and certification meetings.  This is to include engineering and technical services in support of identification analysis and resolution of combat system and interoperability electromagnetic interference anomalies for ship systems. 


CLA-Tech’s experienced technical team will provide sound engineering recommendations and improvements as well as the engineering evaluations necessary to establish electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) guidance, policy and certification for assigned ships and facilities. EMI and Radiation Hazard (RADHAZ) activities will include discovery and recognition testing, support of topside integration design, and configuration management for new ship construction and fleet availability periods and other test and engineering events as required to meet MIL STD 1605 and NAVSEA STD 407-5291780 specifications.  CLA-Tech is able to provide EMI/EMC analysis, test planning services, develop test procedures, conduct testing, and document test results with quick look and summary reports. CLA-Tech can provide engineering recommendations for product improvement and modifications along with developing technical support documentation. It is in these areas that the CLA-Tech technical team can provide services to individual government agencies at competitive rates in Zones  2, 3, and 4.
