Over the past 25 years, Ms. Abbott has developed broad-based scientific, engineering, project and program management experience through a combination of military and private sector application.  Ms. Abbott has broad-based engineering, project and program and corporate management experience through a combination of military and private sector application.  Ms. Abbott served as corporate VP for A&H Technologies from January 2014 to January 2015 and stepped down to start CLA-Tech in February 2015 in order to develop a company able to support  both EMC Engineering as well as Environmental Engineering Remediation business opportunities.  Ms. Abbott has been the A&H Technologies, Inc. Program Manager for the Topside EM Control Drawing task for the past 8 years in support of EMI problem investigation, characterization, and quantification utilizing a working knowledge and experience with MIL-STD-1310(), MTL-DTL-24749(), OD32382(), system and ship specific ICDs and associated guidance documents to clarify bonding requirements of topside items of surface U.S. Navy ships in support of EMI planned maintenance systems.  Responding to Topside EM Control queries; scheduling and prioritizing A&H Technologies, Inc. staff for the development of Fleet Generic and Ship Specific Topside EM Control Measures drawings; EMC certification infrastructure; EMC certification, and providing direct interaction with NSWCDD Q54 personnel as well as all EMC Certification team personnel all fall within Ms. Abbott’s realm of responsibility.  Ms. Abbott is a veteran of the USAF, having served as a 1N251 Communications Signal Intelligence Specialist conducting ELINT spectrum analysis under joint, NAVY, AIR FORCE, MARINE, and ARMY program within the signal intelligence sector.  Ms. Abbott’s broad-based previous experience includes risk mitigation and analysis on a variety of military projects and applications. 

Chronological Work History/Experience

A&H Technologies, Inc.; 8 years; Hired April 2008; Program Manager/Topside EM Control Measures Drawing

Ms. Abbott has extensive experience with MIL-STD-1310(), MTL-DTL-24749(), OD32382(), and ICDs to clarify bonding requirements of topside items into one location, reducing the errors associated with interpretation said guidance documents in support of EMI problem investigation, characterization, and quantification.  Ms. Abbott has conducted topside visual surveys and inventories on DDG-51, LPD-17, LCS, LHA, and LHD ship classes to aid in the development of EM Control Measures drawings.  Ms. Abbott is directly responsible for the development, maintenance, and update of the Generic and Ship Specific Topside EM Control Measures drawings for all ship classes and has generated and submitted over 200 ship-specific EM Control Measures drawings representing CG, CVN, DDG, FFG, LCS, LHA, LHD, LPD, and LSD platforms.  Ms. Abbott has performed Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Certification dockside inspections and testing for LCS 4 to include Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) STD-407-5291780(B) topside visual inspection, and conducting MIL‑STD-1605A Phase I data collection.  Ms. Abbott provides direct interaction and communication between NSWCDD (B54), supporting contractor EMC Certification Team personnel, and Topside EM Control Measures drawing personnel for EM Control Measure drawing updates.

Ms. Abbott has 8 years’ experience with various remediation contracts through the Air National Guard Bureau (NGB), the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the Department of Energy with an emphasis in project management.  Ms. Abbott conducted engineering analysis for contaminant remediation on military installations, defined test requirements and conducted the tests for sites requiring engineering remediation, and provided risk mitigation management, analysis, and quality assurance on a variety of engineering remediation projects.  Ms. Abbott has much experience performing technical analysis, writings and CAD drawings to complete State and Federal regulatory reports.  Ms. Abbott managed NGB contracts from the development. generated White Papers in aid of Scope of Work (SOW) development; developed proposals for bid;  project costing; subcontractor SOW, subsequent selection and management; on to project completion.   Ms. Abbott managed all projects at the proposed or booked fee and achieved client assessment rating which met or exceeded corporate requirements.

Professional Experience Summary

Ms. Corrigan is a Junior RF Engineer with a degree in Wireless and Electrical Engineering from Auburn University with 7 years of engineering experience, analytical evaluation and engineering analysis for individual electronic systems.  Ms. Corrigan’s varied experience covers the U.S. Navy and U. S. Air Force electronic systems. She has served as team member and team leader on projects which required logistical coordination, job preparation, the development of test plans and procedures, and on site testing.  Ms. Corrigan is the technical interface between Navy Engineering and Navy technical services contractors for the review of technical documents, which include test plans/reports, analytical evaluation of systems’ RF compatibility, and development of actionable EMC criteria which have been submitted to Navy Engineering EMC technical lead.  Ms. Corrigan has detailed knowledge of modern test equipment and its use in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.  She has orchestrated equipment calibration, repair and procurement.
